Neoholothele incei

apx 1.75" in acrylic spider crib

A popular dwarf species prized for its prolific webbing, high-speed growth, and unique status as one of the few tarantulas that can potentially be kept communally. Native to the dry scrublands of Trinidad and Venezuela, this hardy species is well-suited for beginners who enjoy an active, "hands-off" display pet.

  • Size: A true dwarf species, females typically reach a maximum leg span of 3 to 3.5 inches while males are smaller at roughly 2 inches.
  • Lifespan: Females can live between 7 to 10 years, whereas males have a short lifespan of roughly 1.5 to 2.5 years.
  • Temperament: Generally skittish and very fast rather than aggressive. They lack urticating hairs but will readily flee or occasionally bluff a threat posture if disturbed
