It's very golden but I can't capture this in the picture. This is an adult apx 3' ... eating defrosted mice or rat pups bi-weekly ... will eat live rat pups but doesn't like things moving too fast like a grown live mouse. Male ... it's very cool! It will poke its head out and let you know when it's hungry... seems to have a very nosey personality. lol
