Isopods are considered cleanup crew for your terrarium, helping to keep the environment clean while providing the occasional calcium-rich snack.
You will receive a 16 oz. container with 10+ isopods, along with substrate and food to keep them going for a couple weeks. Each culture will seed up to a 10 gallon / 20x10 footprint tank. For larger enclosures purchase two or more cultures.
What do I do with this culture?
You can either add the isopods and the substrate in their container directly to your vivarium by dumping them under the moss & leaf litter mixture or set them up in a larger container to make more isopods. Fill a plastic shoe box 3/4 full of a good substrate mixture with mosses and leaf litter, moisten your substrate mixture and add the isopod culture, feed and mist regularly.
